Application for Permission to Operate Dredge or Specified Machinery (PODSM):

• A completed application form signed by both Application and property holder (when different from applicant) along with attachments as indicated on the form. (Link to form)

Self Sponsor

• An alien who has valid mining equipment registered in his/her name or who is the holder of a Trading Licence can make an application for self-sponsorship
• An alien who provides substantial proof to the Commission that he/she is a potential investor may also self-sponsor in order to offset his/her application for the registration of equipment etc. After acquiring his/her approval (of the Work Permit application) from the GGMC and subsequently his/her Work Permit from MOH that alien is allowed to register his/her equipment and to apply for licences etc.
